Dive on the Maris Pearl,

January 17, 2010

Last week, Sterling Marine Services LLC was hired by Old Tacoma Marine to cut a line of a WWII tug boat in Shilshole Bay, named Maris Pearl.   With in the hour we had the line removed from the thruster, but there were bigger problems.   The nut holding the prop on, was stripped clean of its threads.    We took note of the situation, went back to the office and ordered new parts.

We returned the following saturday with, nuts, washers, zincs, and wrenches!    Within an hour we had the nuts and zincs mounted.
